Choffin Students to Compete in Columbus, OH!

Choffin Career & Technical Center would like to congratulate the following
students for passing the Skills USA Officer Candidate test. Their
successful passage qualifies them to attend Officer Training for Northeast
Regional Office in Columbus, OH on November 20th and 21st.
The students are: Jacob Adolphsen, Jolessa Bevly, Chanell Coleman, Jameika
Driskoll, Jazzmine Hall, William Heckathorn, Vanessa Knight, Shardae Rue,
Aaron Torres, and Eric Venable.
The training involves many leadership aspects pertaining to everyday
professional skills as well as specific Skills USA leadership duties. If
elected, they will be an integral part of running the Ohio Skills USA
organization for the Nov 08-Nov 09 school year. The students may also run
for start office in April of 2009.
Skills USA is a national organization for career technical students.
