"JA In A Day" Comes to Choffin!
          
Junior Achievement of the Mahoning Valley will be visiting Choffin Career & Technical Center on Wednesday, February 17th from 8:15 to 10:45 AM to present “JA In A Day!”  Eight classes of juniors will learn Success Skills thanks to the Better Business Bureau, BBB.  Choffin secured grant monies funded by the BBB to be able to participate in the Junior Achievement Success Skills program.  Joe Meranto, Director of Choffin says “We are so excited to have local professionals in our school teaching our students the success skills they will need in life.  One of the main goals of career technical education is to prepare students to enter the workforce. With the help of the BBB and Junior Achievement our students are going to hear first hand exactly what professionals in the workforce are looking for in employees!” Choffin currently has over 600 high school students from across the valley enrolled in Career Tech programs.
