Admission Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, pre-entrance examination and interview. This program is designed to provide a strong foundation in several areas of machining:
• Layout and Blueprint Reading
• Machining Math Calculation
• Precision Instruments • CNC
• Milling Machine • Lathe and Grinders Students will produce a variety of projects from metal stock by operating machines such as vertical and horizontal milling machines, power saws, drills, precision grinders, updated machine shop numerical control and computerized numerical control machining. Upon completion of this program students will be ready for entry level employment in the machine trades industry.
