PRE-ALGEBRA & NUMERIC REASONING COURSES
Spring Semester 2010
- Location: Choffin Career & Technical Center
- Attendance Policy: Daily attendance is required. 90% attendance is mandatory.
- Dates: YSU STUDENTS ONLY: Friday, January 15th -- 10:00 am to Noon, Choffin Room A-126
What: TABE Testing (TABE D Math only) & ABLE Registration
- After testing, TABE scores will be reviewed privately with students.
- Math scores of 9.5 or higher will be referred to the
Pre-Algebra Course -- Room A-126
- Math scores of 6.0 to 9.4 will be referred to the Numeric Reasoning Course -- Room A-101
- Math scores below 6.0 will be encouraged to attend an
ABLE class at the site of their choice.
All classes will be held on Fridays from 10:00 to Noon
Note: No classes will be held on the first Friday of each month.

March 12th no class - spring break
March 19th
March 26th
April 9th

April 30th - last day of classes
Student Eligibility:
Pre-Registration is required. Call 330-744-8715 to pre-register.
- These courses are open to YSU students who are not currently enrolled in a math course at YSU.
- These courses are open to enrolled ABLE students who scored 6.0 or higher on TABE Math.
- A Math score of 6.0 to 9.4 -- the student will be referred to the Numeric Reasoning Course.
- A Math score of 9.5 or higher -- the student will be referred to the Pre-Algebra Course.
